I have been active in the art scene since graduating from the Prague Academy in 1992. Early in my career, I gained recognition for expressive paintings, sculptures, and installations, with exhibitions at the Moravian Gallery in Brno and Nová Síň in Prague. I also created large-scale marionettes for theater productions in Vienna and Sant Lambrecht.
From 1992 to 1996, I worked on interior projects in Brno, including clubs, hotels, and paintings for the Dukovany nuclear power plant. In 2006-2007, I established myself in Los Angeles, collaborating with BOX Eight and exhibiting at Crash Mansion, the Czech Consulate, and Downtown LA galleries. My work was collected by Hollywood figures, and I created a large-format painting for Tunnel Club.
After returning to Prague, I moved to Munich in 2009, working with Gehe 8 Kunstraum Dresden and Domagkstrasse Ateliers. In 2015, I co-founded GEKW (Gesamte Entartete Kunstwerke) with Petr Motyčka-Sadofsky, leading major projects like Tragedy as a Farce, displayed at the European Parliament and the Kampa Museum. Our collaboration was featured in the 2019 DOX Contemporary Art Center exhibition Reduced Visibility of Ordinary Things.
